Air cooled
The air cooled air conditioners range includes many different products: INVERTER, ON-OFF, Multisplit and 60Hz models.
Functioning and installationThe models available are: wall mounted, portable, floor/ceiling, cassette, ducted, column and window.
FUNCTIONING
How does an air cooled air conditioner work?
The air conditioner works following the refrigerating cycle combined with the compression cycle.
This is the process both to cool and heat:
The air is cooled by the gas present in the copper pipes.This gas is compressed and transformed from the liquid to gasiform state, reducing the heat during this transformation. The evaporating liquid, in this way, produces the refrigerating effect. The gas cools the air that shall be introduced in the ambient at a lower temperature.
On the contrary, when the gas returns from the gasiform to the liquid state, the heat shall be produced. This heat shall be transferred from the gas to the air that shall be introduced in the ambient at a higher temperature (heat pump).

INSTALLATION
To choose the suitable air conditioner is necessary to know the following:
- he seasonal values of the external local temperature and the humidity;
- the cubic meters of the ambient to be air-conditioned;
- the technical details useful to carry out a good dimensioning of the model.
The internal and external unit communicate by means of:
- electrical connection;
- copper pipes connections for the refrigerant.
To allow an excellent performance of the model is necessary to observe some particulars:
- do not expose the external unit to the direct sunlight or to other heat sources to help the reduction of the heat and therefore to reduce the consumption;
- position the external unit as close as possible to the internal unit to reduce the refrigerant gas losses.
Example of installation of a multisplit with connection to one external unit.
Brackets for the hanging installation of the outdoor unit. Copper pipes for the connection between the indoor and the outdoor unit.
Minimum distances to be respected for the positioning of the outdoor unit (mm)ADVIDSED POWERS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF FIXED AIR CONDITIONERS
